Who is she?
Oshean Blu Bey (Baltimore, 1992) is a multidisciplinary artist, intuitive creator, and owner of BluFire Artistry and JusBOrganics. Her work is a ritual, a meditation, and a portal—an invitation to experience reality through a lens of flow, consciousness, and imagination. She paints, sculpts, creates murals, jewelry, masks, and mixed media works, exploring any material that calls to her hands: wood, clay, resin, plaster, acrylic, paper, glass, rocks, and more. Her pieces pulse with psychedelic energy, flowing abstraction, movement, and the symbolic gaze of eyes, inviting viewers to see the ordinary as extraordinary and experience consciousness as ever-moving and alive.

In 2019, her life shifted profoundly when she was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. What began as a stiffness in her neck quickly spread: her left arm became immobile, pain radiated through her right side, and eventually traveled down her legs to her toes. Every part of her body ached, tingled, and weakened. Walking, standing, even lifting a cup became monumental challenges. In the midst of this uncertainty, she confronted the fragility of life—and the preciousness of every moment.

It was during this time of physical limitation that art called to her. Painting, which she had long dreamed of but feared pursuing, became a necessity. With trembling hands, she picked up her first brush. The first strokes were tentative, almost unsure—but as the paint met the surface, she felt something she hadn’t in months: relief. For the first time, the pain softened, and energy began to flow. Each brushstroke, sculpture, mask, mural, or handcrafted piece became a ritual, a sacred space where emotion, vision, and spirit could move freely. She realized she was not merely creating art—she was channeling life itself, her inner world speaking to the universe and back to herself.

Keeping her inner child alive became central to her practice. Through play, wonder, and fearless exploration, she nurtures her soul and transforms visions into tangible forms. Her work shows the familiar as abstract, the ordinary as extraordinary, and consciousness as ever-flowing energy. Eyes, movement, and psychedelic abstraction recur as symbolic threads, forming a language that communicates without words—a bridge between spirit, mind, and body.
Her creativity extends beyond visual art into poetry, sound baths, Reiki, herbal remedies, and plant medicine—each offering space for healing, transformation, and connection. Her work has reached homes across the United States and internationally in Germany, yet for Oshean, the true measure of her impact lies not in geography, but in the energy her creations carry and the inspiration they spark.

Every painting, sculpture, mural, mask, piece of jewelry, and mixed media creation is a portal: into her inner world, into expanded consciousness, and into unseen layers of reality. Her journey continues, ever-evolving, and her invitation is clear: step into the flow, honor your inner child, embrace freedom, express without limits, and see the world through a lens that is uniquely her own.
